Reality vs Fantasy

I've thought this over repeatedly. I have my pros and cons of both UT and NTID. UT has a basic educational interpreter major. Theres nothign that stands out about it, except its not far from family. While NTID has everything I would ever want. The truth comes down to this. NTID is expensive for a hearing person. They have scholarships and grants. But, I know it wont be enough to cover me unless I live in a dorm. I dont want to live in a dorm. I want to have my own housing. I learned last year I can't stand dorm. I may not even get enough financial aid to go but two quarters then spead the other two off. That would amke it up to eight years to graduate. I dont have great grades and suck as a A/B student. I tried it! Its rough and stressful on me. UT is a tn school in a town I know not too far from where I live. I can fiinsh in two years. Going to ETSU, I know what I can get from a TN school and know that in knoxville I can easily get housing.

After my experience in MO, I'd rather just finish somewhere I know for itnerpreting. For Deaf studies, I can go to cali. I can't transfer there now, so I can go after I finish UT then pay for bachelor level classes. Cali follows the same standards as TN. Northridge is in an area I generally know. I can get a secondary bachelors there, so I can have my Deaf studies degree. :D I know I could do Deaf studies at Gally as a Masters too. But I have three or so years to look into it.

But thats my decision. I will finish my NTID application, but I am going to end up at UT. Its just easier on me.
